Emergency Services

When Should I Call for Emergency Sewer Services?

No homeowner wants to come home to a basement full of running water or a backed-up dishwasher drain that left a watery mess on their kitchen floor. Unfortunately, this does happen to homes throughout the Greenwood, IN, area. Whether you have a stubborn drain that will not budge, a backed-up sewer line that does not respond to traditional remedies, or a burst laundry room pipe, Curt & Jerry Sewer Service can help. If you encounter any of the issues below, then you are definitely a candidate for our emergency services.

Backed Up Sewer Line

There are several reasons there may be a sewer line backup. Tree roots, non-flushable items, and broken pipes can all cause serious sewer system problems. If it’s a simple problem like toilet tissue causing a clog, then a homeowner may have no problem handling this issue. If the clog is due to something more serious, like an invasive tree root or a burst pipe, you need to call a sewer specialist. We have the right tools to accurately diagnose and fix the problem.

Clogged Sinks or Drains

Many clogged sinks and drains can be unplugged with the use of plungers, plumbing snakes, or over-the-counter products. If you’ve exhausted all of these solutions, then it’s time to call in an emergency plumber. We have professional equipment that can cut away at whatever is blocking up your shower drain, sink drain, or laundry drain.

Leaky or Burst Pipes

If your home is experiencing a minor leak, it may not be imperative that you call for emergency service. On the other hand, if a pipe has burst in the basement, laundry room, or bathroom, and you cannot stop water from filling up your home, then you definitely need emergency service. Once we receive your call, we will immediately respond to stop that water from destroying your home.
